Polar H10 Battery Quick Actions
If HeatSense is not detecting a signal from your heart rate monitor, this may be due to a dead battery. Troubleshooting steps:
- Make sure the sensor is properly attached to the strap.
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting the actual sensor on the strap (it snaps on and off)
- Try replacing the CR2025 battery in your heart rate monitor and reconnect the device after replacing the battery.
Understanding the Polar H10 Battery Life
The Polar H10 heart rate sensor has a battery life of approximately 400 hours of active use. It uses a CR2025 coin cell battery, which is not rechargeable. With typical usage patterns—like tracking an hour-long workout a few times a week—the battery can last for about a year or two. To maximize battery life, it's recommended to detach the sensor from the strap after each use, as it will continue to draw power when connected.
