Capturing a Complete Session with Data History
Your HeatSense sensor is always recording — even when your phone goes out of range. If the device disconnects during a session, it continues to collect your vitals locally. Once you reconnect, the app downloads that history so your session stays complete.
How Data History Works
-
If your sensor goes out of Bluetooth range, it continues to capture data in the background.
-
When you reconnect your device or pull-to-refresh on the Home screen, the app automatically downloads this history.
-
Data history includes the last 20 minutes, recorded at 1-minute intervals.
-
This data is stored in the HeatSense API and contributes to your session analysis, but it will not appear on the "You" screen.
How to Manually Recover Data
You can force a history download at any time:
-
From Calendar
-
Open your Calendar view.
-
Tap Download History to recover stored data.
-
-
From Device Management
-
Go to Device Management.
-
Tap Reconnect to trigger a history download.
-
Why It Matters
Data history ensures your session record is complete, even if you step out of range or temporarily disconnect. Your HeatSense sensor never stops recording — you can always recover the missing segment and keep your training log intact.
